Here’s exactly what you need to look for so you don’t end up with awkward, cringey photos that don’t feel like you.
1. Find Someone Who Specializes in Seniors
Listen, your senior session isn’t just another photoshoot—it’s an experience! You don’t want someone who just dabbles in senior photography. You need a photographer who lives for senior sessions, knows all the best poses, locations, and trends, and makes you feel like the main character.

2. Look at Their Editing Style
Editing styles are SO different from photographer to photographer. Do you love warm, golden, dreamy tones? Or do you prefer something super light and airy? Spoiler alert: My seniors always say their session was the highlight of their senior year (and I may or may not tear up every time I hear that).
