A Season of Memories: Maddie’s Fall and Spring Senior Sessions

As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing countless senior sessions, but Maddie’s stands out in a sea of smiles and sunsets. This remarkable young woman from Dorman High School isn’t just any senior; she’s a top player on the Girl’s Golf Team and a personality brimming with kindness and passion.

Teeing Off in Style: The Fall Session

Our journey began with the Fall + Spring Bundle, a perfect choice for capturing the many facets of Maddie’s senior year. Our first session unfolded in a private field in Roebuck, SC, a location that effortlessly matched Maddie’s laid-back yet vibrant persona. The golden hues of the fall complemented her radiant smile, creating a series of images that were nothing short of magical.

But that wasn’t all. We then took a short drive to Three Pines Golf Course, a nod to Maddie’s love for golf. The course, with its manicured greens and serene ambiance, was the ideal backdrop for showcasing Maddie’s athletic side. Dressed in her golf attire, Maddie shone like a star, her passion for the sport evident in every frame.

A Gown and a Goal: The Show-Stopping Blue Dress

A highlight of the session was when Maddie donned a gorgeous blue gown, a color that truly resonated with her style. The images we captured in that gown were nothing short of show-stopping, reflecting her ability to be both relaxed and extravagantly elegant. This contrast beautifully mirrors her self-described style – “kinda basic but also not” – a blend of laid-back and overdressed, predominantly in blues and whites.

Looking Forward: Anticipation for the Spring Session

As the leaves turn and we are headed toward spring, the anticipation for our second session in Charleston is palpable. With its historic charm and picturesque streets, Charleston promises to be the perfect canvas for the next chapter in Maddie’s story.

More Than a Session: A Reflection of Personality

Maddie wanted a fun and natural session, where she could relax and be herself. Her answers to the senior questionnaire painted a picture of a young woman who is kindhearted, funny, strong, and deeply empathetic. She loves Taylor Swift, rom-coms, true crime shows, and a variety of snacks from Airhead Extreme Sourfuls to cashews and fruit. These little details helped shape a session that truly reflected her personality.

Goals and Dreams: Looking Beyond High School

Maddie’s aspirations extend beyond the golf course. She dreams of attending USC Columbia or CofC, majoring in exercise science, and eventually becoming a pediatric OT. Her desire to travel the world and possibly coach children in golf adds depth to her already impressive profile. I have a feeling she will be headed to College of Charleston. 😉
